Costa Calida - Murcia's Coastline

The Costa Calida is located in the South East of Spain (Murcia) and is home to numerous tranquil unspoilt resorts being easily accessible from either Alicante or San Javier airports. The area has numerous Golf Courses, untouched beaches and idyllic walks. An ideal location for either a holiday home to escape from the gloomy weather at home or a permanent home depending on your individual requirements.

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE AREA

MAZARRON - Traditionally an old mining town it now forms the centre for business for the surrounding area providing numerous banks, businesses, town hall, bars, restaurants,shops and a weekly market.


PUERTO DE MAZARRON
Dating back to the Romans the area offers a beautiful coastline studded with gems of safe clean sandy beaches. Walk along the palm lined "paseo" and choose from an excellent choice of bars and restaurants. Still very popular with the Spanish holidaymakers it remains unspoilt and tranquil during the sunny winter months. Local shops and a Sunday market.


CAMPOSOL - A well established urbanisation only 15 minutes drive from local beaches in Puerto de Mazarron and Bolnuevo. Offering a wide variety of villas for either pemanent living or holiday homes.There is a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shops at the commercial centre and Camposol also has its own Golf Course, Clubhouse and Bowling Alley. The Sensol Hotel offers full spa facilities and has a large outdoor swimming pool for non residents.



BOLNUEVO - A short drive from Puerto de Mazarron the village has a beautiful beach, beautiful sand sculptures and a wide variety of property ranging from apartments to luxury hillside villas. Ameneties include a supermarket, pharmacy, hairdressers and a variety of shops, bars and restaurants.


ISLA PLANA - Sitting on a stunning coastline this small fishing village contains all ameneties for every day living whilst the larger town of Puerto de Mazarron is just a short drive away. It's local community center is great for meeting Spanish.


LA AZOHIA - Still an active fishing village the area remains quiet and peaceful whilst offering many ameneties. Boasting some of the best sea views on the Costa Calida it is also a popular resort for divers and home to the local dive centre and some fantastic restaurants.


MURCIA AND CARTAGENA - Both cities offer a wealth of history and shops/malls and are easily accessable by either car or local transport from Mazarron.
